Earlier tonight, during Craig Ferguson's monologue on TLLS, he was talking about Spongebob Squarepants and said you had to be stoned to understand it which totally reminded me of episode 4.03 of Desperate Housewives because of Lynette's storyline in that one XD.

I went and got my eyebrows waxed today and had McDonalds for dinner, nothing exciting. But I also bought season 1 of Gene Simmons Family Jewels and season 11 of ER on DVD which I was happy about. I was going to wait until I got back from PEI to buy ER but it was there and I couldn't resist! Plus it was at Wal-Mart and it was pretty cheap for a DVD boxset that came out just yesterday.

The whole reason for this post is that I'm kinda annoyed with my dad ATM. I'm leaving for my trip on Tuesday and I'm going with my uncle and cousins even though I usually go with my dad. Anyway my dad is the one who payed for my ticket so he has to give me spending money for the trip. He decided we should meet for dinner since we haven't seen each other since March. He told me we could go anywhere and I suggested Jack Astor's which is near Sherway. I've been craving it for a while. Anyway, he has no idea how to get there by bus and he's too lazy to look it up ugh. So he said he'd prefer if it was near Royal York, Runnymede or Jane since the subways there. And well, except for Royal York, there aren't a lot of restaurants I like, ugh. I guess I'll suggest Swiss Chalet since the subway is up the street and I can take the bus or walk. Even though the food there isn't that great.

ETA: Okay my mom said she would drive us somewhere so I'll have to talk to my dad tomorrow and see what he thinks.

I had a dentist appointment today for a routine cleaning and then while I was in the waiting room I ran into Ms. Bazinet, my old drama teacher from Parklawn. She was there with her kids. It was kind of awkward but she's still the same as I remember.

Anyway, my gums are really swollen and sore right now. When I got my bonded retainer put on the dental hygenist never taught me how to clean and floss around it so there was a lot of plaque and stuff. So she was going at it with that sharp pointy thing they used to get rid of plaque, and so yeah, it caused a lot of bleeding and pain. There not that bad right now, they're not as painful as they were but it's definitely uncomfortable, ugh.

I haven't been online for almost all of today which is really strange since on the weekends I'm usually on for most of the day. Oh well, it is nice to do other other things once in a while.

I ended up watching two movies today. Away We Go and the first Transformers movie. Away We Go was really good! I heard from somebody it wasn't good however I really enjoyed it. It was pretty cute.

I kinda liked Transformers. I found myself drifting off a lot though and I had troubles following the plot. That's not really my kind of movie and the whole reason I watched it was because of Megan Fox. She's a terrible actress but shes HOT lol. I thought if I liked the first one I would go see the sequel but I'll probably wait for the DVD unless I can convince my friends to see it with me.

ETA: I forgot, I'm doing my friends cut any day now so last chance to tell me you either want to be cut or if you want stay. But remember, I'm keeping most of you but if you're worried feel free to comment.

But really nothing new has been going on. I've just been relaxing and enjoying the fact that school is out. Also, I've become addicted to Twitter but not everyone on my flist follows me. So anyway...

My permanent bonded retainer is now fixed! Luckily, the piece that was broken wasn't very big so it didn't take very long and it wasn't as bad as when I got the actual thing put on. Also, from now on I don't have to go to anymore orthodontist appointments except if my retainer gets loose or my bonded one breaks again. So I'm happy about that.

Also, I have a video meme and photo meme going on. For the video meme I've only gotten 1 person who asked me questions so come on guys! I really want to do it so ask me questions! It'll be open for a while so you have time and remember you can ask me as many questions as you want!

I've found out the days I'll be going to PEI. I'm going from the 21st to the 31st. I'm excited. 10 days with Christine will be awesome. I might be going to stay at her house for a few days before we leave also. We're planning a trip to Canada's Wonderland which is exciting because I haven't been there in like two years.

I'm going to do a small friends cut soon. Nothing major, I'll probably be deleting the people who haven't updated their journals in forever, don't have any entries or who don't comment much on my journal/we don't talk outside of LJ. I'm keeping most of you but if you're really worried leave a comment here. Also the reverse, if you don't want us to be friends anymore (you don't read my entries etc.) then leave a comment telling me to cut you. Fingers crossed I don't get any of those!

If it's for celebrity gossip usually magazines, blogs and my AOL homepage. It depends on the news for. For Celeb pregnancies/births Celebrity Baby Blog is most reliable. For Weddings, US Weekly, People and OK usually cover those. I used to be pretty obsessed with The Enquirer and buy it every week lol. Despite it being The Enquirer and being very unreliable, they were usually dead-on with their spoilers. That's the only source I remember saying Gabrielle & Carlo's surrogate (on Desperate Housewives) would be giving birth to a black baby. They also had a Grey's Anatomy spoiler about The Chief's wife being pregnant and having a miscarriage. My mom and I both thought that was totally fake so we were surprised when that turned out to be true.

Okay, so recently I've become a huge Julia Murney fan. I have I'm Not Waiting, Ring Them Bells, The Wild Party OOBCR, The Actors Fund recording of Chess, and a song she did on the Hair Actor's Fund recording, a song from Keys and then some other random songs xx_linge_xx gave me. Do any Julia fans have anything else? Videos or songs, it doesn't matter. Thanks in advance! I'm also willing to trade if anyone wants a download of any of these.

My mom and I wanted to see The Hangover tonight but it was sold out so we went to My Sister's Keeper instead. That was fine because I read the book and I was excited about the movie. However the movie let me down. I know a book and a movie can't be the same, but I definitely prefer the book 100x more. It had a great cast who tried their best with what material they had. And the ending was COMPLETELY different than the book. I won't spoil either ending in case people are seeing/reading it. They should've stuck with the book's original ending. It would've had a more dramatic impact. Alec Baldwin had like 4 scenes which sucked since in the book his character had so much more. He's such a great actor, they should of explored his character more. I was a little iffy about Cameron Diaz playing a dramatic role because of her comedy background. But she totally rocked it. I think I like her now. She should do more dramatic roles in the future. And these are really tiny nitpicks but did they have to use that fake blood that looks like ketchup! The medical scenes or scenes when the daughter was sick looked so fake! Also, because the main character has cancer, of course she's going to wear wigs but some of the wigs looked really fake (like you could really, really tell it was fake hair.) Those are really small issues but they annoyed me.

And the other thing that happened today is I realized a piece of my upper permanent retainer is broken & loose. It's a tad annoying, and my ortho's office has limited hours. Also, tomorrow's Canada Day so it's closed. It'll probably be days until I'll be able to schedule an appointment, ugh.

I was at Sherway last night and bought coffee at like 8:00 PM, yeah bad idea since I was up until 4 in the morning. I was going to try and do an all-nighter but I couldn't do it. Everytime I decide I'm going to try and stay up all night I end up being exhausted by 4 and I go to bed.

Anyway, I watched most of Chess in Concert while I was staying up. I skipped through some of it, ie. the instrumental bits but from what I saw it's really good! It's such an odd thing to be obsessed with though. But Kerry Ellis and Idina Menzel are in it and they are love♥. I also kind of love Adam Pascal. As much as I love Idina, I'm starting to understand why some people hate her voice sometimes. I have a recording of Chess with Julia Murney & Sutton Foster, and Julia sings some of the song's better than Idina.

And Kerry Ellis's Someone Elses's Story is absolute love!♥

After I got my report card and yearbook today I ran into Elizabeth, Annie, Eunice, Agnes, Julia and Adam and they were all headed to Adam's house so I tagged along. Adam is sort of a strange person (All his friends are girl's, he seriously has no guy friends, and he is obsessed with cats) but he's a nice guy and let me come even though he hadn't invited me. It was actually Liz who invited me when she saw me.

At first we just hung out signing yearbook's and comparing our marks but then Adam ordered pizza so we all watched Rush Hour 3. That's not my type of movie but it was much funnier than I thought it would. Of course, parts of it were stupid but it was a fun way to spend an afternoon. Adam ordered 3 pizza's for 7 of us but my friend's are kind of animals when it comes to food so that was a good idea! Anyway, no one except me likes vegetarian pizza so I was the only one who ate that which meant more pizza for me XD. Toronto's ribfest started today so my mom and I are going later. Ribs & pizza isn't exactly the healthiest food but oh, well! It's friday! Plus, school is officially finished for the summer!

BTW, on Contact Day when I got my marks, my history teacher said I had a 70 but my report card says 81! Yay! Thank God it didn't drop 10%. I know an exam only worth 15% couldn't make it drop that much.
